ABOUT

Hello, I'm Zach👋, an aspiring Product Designer with a Masters Degree in UX and over ten years of software delivery experience.

 

I'm passionate about creating pragmatic and intuitive digital experiences. I'm also an avid hiker, world traveler, and a huge Lord of the Rings fan. I love video games and enjoy a good craft beer with friends.

 

In 2020 I graduated with a Masters degree in User Experience Design at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand and was hired on at an agency in Christchurch where I was able to get some hands on experience while working with a cross-functional team of UX Designers, Analysts, and Software Engineers.

 

Sometimes life gets in the way of goals (in this case, a global pandemic) and I ended up moving back to the states in 2021. Today I work with Product teams at CarMax as a Program Manager and I'm currently exploring the Product Design career path again.

I have a talent for empathizing and understanding what users really need and I'm always keen to experiment and test new ideas.
